External non-HTTP(s) endpoints are not supported

I have taken quite some time to configure SFTPGO as a container to expose an ftp server. Now that everything works locally I wanted to deploy this to our azure installation, but then I received the following error

ERROR: generating bicep from manifest: configuring ingress for resource sftpgo: External non-HTTP(s) endpoints are not supported

Does this mean it will never work at all or just that I have somehow have to ditch together my own bicep?

External non http endpoints required a virtual network. We haven't ventured into this space yet, so we block it at the moment.

Thanks @davidfowl just one question. Is it something that I can workaround with custom bicep templates or do I have to wait?
