How to display URL in the dashboard for customResource with aspire 9.3

Hi,

Since Aspire 9.3, no url is displayed in the dashboard for a custom resource like one created from the @davidfowl 's sample https://github.com/davidfowl/AspireYarp even when adding a withurl and/or deleting the code which remove endpoint.

I tryed many things without success.

That resource is old and outdated. There's a newer yarp resource in 9.3 that will eventually fully replace my prototype.

Yes i saw it but it's a containerresource and it's not what i want.
I have added much code around your sample to focus my context and that works very well. If i can keep it, that will be great
But my question is more global than this simple case and it's about customresource in general.
For exemple, i want to add a resource for an external service with a Url .

It seems that it is not possible to expose a Url for a resource other than the 3 main ones (Project, Container, Exec)

It is possible in fact that's an explicit feature that was added. If you want to add support to your derived yarp resource then raise the endpoints allocated event from your resource:
