Pointer of unmanaged field in ref struct

Not sure why this is not allowed:

public ref struct Testing<T> where T : unmanaged
{
    private T field;
    unsafe public void Use()
    {
        T* p = &field; // CS0212: You can only take the address of an unfixed expression inside of a fixed statement initializer
        fixed (T* ptr = &field) 
        {

        }        
    }
}

Isn't field in this context guaranteed to be stack-allocated and thus, address may be taken safely?
