This doesn't look great, but I guess it has to be done this way because of the chosen direction, and it's going to be very rare, so not a huge deal. But still, I don't like it at all.

That's how extensions actually work. myArray.Where(...) turns into Enumerable.Where(myArray, ...).

I prefer a new syntax for this, for example:

_ = (obj @ C).Prop;

Which can be interpreted as "accessing obj.Prop at the extension C".

What does the expression (obj @ C) mean by itself?
