I see all these inference proposals moving forward and I'm super excited! The language would become significantly cleaner with all these implemented, as well as more orthogonal in cases (opening up some existing rules for constructors).

I assume they are all in one way or another directly or tangentially related to DU's and that's why they are being bumped now in preparation for DUs/Union Types being added starting 2026?

Yes. THat's a good way to think about them. They are all technically independent of DUs, and are just generally nice for the language as a whole. However, we do think that they will be of particular value if/when DUs come along, and so that has helped boost their priority in our backlog.
