Dependabot will NOT handle updating the SDK version in the global.json file

Description

The article says, "dependabot will handle updating the version in the global.json file"; however, dependabot will not actually do this... it doesn't work. An issue was raised with dependabot about 3 months ago (see here), but there's no timeframe on when it will be fixed, if ever.

It seems like a dependabot bug to me. Not a documentation issue.
