.NET Container Images updates for June 2024

All versions

• Alpine 3.20 images now available #5556
• .NET Alpine 3.18 images no longer maintained #5555
• .NET 7 images will no longer be published

.NET 9 Preview 5

• Azure Linux 3.0 (Preview) images have been added
• Ubuntu Noble 24.04 Arm32 images have been added with .NET support for 64-bit time (Update .NET 9 Arm32 for Y2038 runtime#101944)
• (SDK image only) PowerShell updated to version 7.5.0-preview.3

.NET Monitor Tagging Scheme Change

.NET Monitor is changing its tagging scheme for the 9.0 release. It will be offered on one OS only, Azure Linux, which is publicly supported. As such, .NET Monitor images will no longer have any OS-specific tag suffixes.

Example tags: 9.0.0-preview.5-amd64, 9.0-preview-amd64, 9.0.0-preview.5, 9.0-preview, 9-preview
