<UseMaui>true</UseMaui> in .NET Android application - Native Embedding

When you set the flag to true you lose the ability to choose a device and start the debugger. Has anyone managed to solve this problem?
If you unset the flag you get the device options back :(

A .Net Android App has this setting.
<TargetFramework>net7.0-android</TargetFramework>
If you change it to
<TargetFrameworks>net7.0-android;net7.0-ios</TargetFrameworks>
then you get the option to select an Android device but you can't build due to the ios framework.
