NET MAUI Will be support older device?

Currently, NET MAUI is best framework to build multiplatform apps, but for me is hard to development using older device.
I'm using Macbook Pro 2016, and if you know the OS cannot be update to lastest OS (Sonoma). I have some idea:

1. to keep productive, please enable downgrade to version to compatible with current OS.
2. Optimize VS Mac for older device.

Not every people can buy newer device every year, so please consider to older device to make developer keep productive.
