Setting up Casting

Has anyone Done Casting Casting to android. I've seen 1 article on it but it uses an older version and isn't very useful. I've worked thorugh the Docs best I can but I end up using a NugetPackage Xamarin.GooglePlayServices.Cast.Framework and the documention is not great so I find my self just searchin and trying all sorts of things with very little progress. I'm also Assuming that it use googles SDK3 but thats a guess since I can't find anything that says it does other than features of the SDK 2 don't seem to be available. Any direction or advice would be appreciated.
