Any wat to set a custom cursor color on a Search View?

I'd like to change the color of the cursor in a Search View, anyone managed to do this on Android? I currently have a handler set up to make some color alterations to both the search icon and the search line plate underneath but I can't find a corresponding resource ID for the cursor. I'm guessing the cursor is its own separate drawable or something?
