Impossible to compile Windows app after updating to .net 9 preview 7

Hello, I have a MAUI app running fine on .net 8 and after updating to .net 9 preview 7 I get the following error when compiling the Windows app:

Improper project configuration: no AppxManifest is specified, but WindowsPackageType is not set to MSIX.

I haven't found anything on the subject and I am clueless on how to move forward. If somebody could share a working MAUI sample with this version, that could help too. Thanks for any input on this.
