Blur effect for UI as a background option

Are there any plans to introduce blur effect in MAUI? I've just noticed the new Outlook started using it. It's obviously a necessary feature for modern UI designs. MacOS beats Windows UI completely via two things: blur and exceptional usage of gray colors.

I saw some work was made by @VladislavAntonyuk here, but maybe someone else thinks it should be a part of the core functionality?
