Developing ON linux, not for linux - Question(s)

Hey there,
couldn't find any resources for that...

Is there a chance to develop on linux and debug on either an Android Emulator or physical Device?
I didn't manage to get everything installed as VS is (currently?) required to make it work, right?

I really would love to have my beloved c#/xaml style with me...
Even if its now, i didn't find if there are any plans to support it somewhen. I don't need a Designer of any sort, just the debugging and im fine with it...
