Hi,

After updating the .NET MAUI controls to version 9.0.70, I started encountering the following exception when navigating back from certain screens:

System.ObjectDisposedException: 'Cannot access a disposed object.
Object name: 'Camera.MAUI.Platforms.Android.MauiCameraView'.'

I'm currently using the CameraView library for barcode scanning and related functionalities:

This issue seems to be related to lifecycle handling after the MAUI update. Please advise on how to resolve or handle this properly.

Try using CommunityToolkit CameraView

@hflexgrig sadly CommunityToolkit CameraView doesn't (yet) support recording videos. Camera.MAUI seem to be the most developed package, even if it hasn't been updated in quite some time.

I would like to say that the current PR merging is still quite slow and should be accelerated. Perhaps by next month, there will be over 600 PRs waiting.
