NET MAUI app published to iOS store but does not show update in the Apple Store

I have looked everywhere about this issue. Previously in Visual Studio for MAC, this was never an issue, but ever since I migrated the project to VS Code, the publish to iOS never triggers any update action in the store. I am updating the appropriate version number in the project file, but at a loss to understand what I could be missing there.

Does it show as 'Ready for Distribution' in AppStore Connect?

Yes as soon as I receive 'Ready for Distribution', I check the store listing. It does not show any update for my app, but when I search for it specifically, then I see the update button. I am able to update it, but no notification that the app has an update

So this won't be an issue with your migration to VS Code, it'll be something else.
I would also suggest you look at using Azure DevOps build pipelines to build for release and upload to TestFlight. Or GitHub Actions, or another build tool.

does it relate to AppStore setting? I have not been able to find any solution yet. Why Visual Studio for Mac worked flawlessly and VS code does not? Would you mind sharing info.plist if tells anything about automatic update notification?

How do you publish your app? via Transporter app?

I am using Transponder as always. It works and no issues with transponder
