"Walking" in .net Maui

So I want to make a animation that has an svg of an animal but I want it to walk. I've never done this before but I can see there is some translation tools in .net maui but that just moves an image. Would I need an animator to draw an animal in the various stages of walking and cycle thru those images? Is there a place where I could buy some svgs I see a place that sells them but not in the various stages of walking. Just looking for something fun to try.
