I'm seeing 16560 Message tasks from the _CalculatePostXamarinTelemetry target in a large solution that doesn't even use Xamarin. Do we really need to be paying this cost for all projects?

A larger build spends 14 seconds just on this:

As a workaround, I added this to our build:

    <!-- Xamarin.Sdk.targets have overhead and we don't want them in our build -->
    <XamarinSdkTargetsImported>true</XamarinSdkTargetsImported>
