Recent version of paps for Ubuntu?

It looks like the default version of paps in the Ubuntu 'paps' package is quite old. Is there a more recent package somewhere?

Sorry. That's not a paps issue, but an issue for the Ubuntu maintainers. I have no idea who they are, and they have never contacted me about paps.

But you can always compile from source.
