No images showing

I have had SuperCell for a long time. after my computer crash, I reinstalled it. and now I have nothing but a black screen. And yes before you all ask, I have the latest version. running win 11 22H2, DirectX is updated, I have about all of the C++ runtimes. it just does not work any more.

The black screen is likely indicative of a bad Map API key. In Settings, verify your Map API key settings, as well as map source. There is a button to the right of the API key that you can use to validate. You may have to login to Mapbox or Maptiler and retrieve or regenerate your API key if it's still not working.

As a side note (no bearing on your current symptoms):

• C++ runtime issue would prevent the application from even starting
• DirectX has no impact on Supercell Wx. It uses OpenGL instead, which will rely on your graphics drivers.

Thank you, Maptiler is a pain in the ares at times. They should state to use the 1st key in the left block, not the one in the right. But again, thank you, that solved the problem.
