Description
I'd love to see marking and annotation tools added to Supercell Wx. Currently there's no way to draw on the
map while tracking storms, which would be incredibly useful for storm chasers and weather enthusiasts.
Suggested Tools
- Freehand drawing - Quick sketches to outline areas of interest
- Lines/arrows - Mark projected storm tracks or movement
- Circles/polygons - Highlight areas of concern
- Text labels - Add notes directly on the map
- Measurement tool - Distance between points
Use Case
When actively tracking severe weather (like tonight in Oklahoma), being able to mark up the radar display
helps with:
- Tracking storm movement over time
- Noting areas of rotation or interest
- Planning chase routes
- Sharing annotated screenshots with others
Additional Context
Even basic drawing that persists during a session (without needing to save/load) would be a huge
improvement for real-time storm tracking.
