PS4 (pro) 4K playback issue

Describe the bug

I've encountered this problem with trying to play 4K video on the ps4 Pro (connected to 1080p screen), while streaming 1080p works perfectly fine, going to 4k just gives me a blue screen with ,only choppy at times, audio playback.
checking the data, it says direct play, while bitrate is set at auto.
But when setting bitrate to 10 or lower, forcing it to transcode, it does work, but has to buffer every few seconds or so (server side performance issue?)

so i was curious if there is any solution to this, or is there a problem with video playback on the client side. (potentially since the ps4 pro is the only ps4 to support 4K)

To reproduce

1. installed the 8.2 pkg to ps4
2. try to stream 4k video, with bitrate set at auto
3. blue screen
4. stream 4k with bitrate set to 10
5. video playback with constant buffers

maybe there is a problem with just the ps4 pro, i havent seen anybody else with this problem.

Same problem. I also have a PS4 Pro. I tried to open 4K content on a 1080p monitor and it showed a blue screen; with 1080p content everything was fine. I also tried connecting the PS4 to a 4K TV, but I have the same issue: blue screen with 4K content, while everything works fine with 1080p content.
