Trigger an alert if there is no file received within specific timeframe

Hi all,

I was wondering if it was possible to generate an alert if there has not been a successful upload/overwrite of a file within a certain time frame?

We run backups daily and want to be notified if a file upload has not been completed successfully every 24 hours.
I've seen that you can alert on failure, but in the event of an outage etc an upload attempt won't even be made.
