Kernel build linux-pinetab2 with multiple jobs/cores

Hello,
how long takes building linux-pinetab2 on pinetab2? I can see in PKGBUILD that the make is run in single job, is there any speed-up if -j4 (or different more than 1) parameter is used?

Edit /etc/makepkg.conf and change the MAKEFLAGS.
