Question on comparison of Matrices

This is definitely a great package with wealth of functions. I was wondering if it can be used to compare two matrices (I assume it doesn't?), or if there is a workaround or may be a plan?

I am developing a package for transition network analysis which in simple words estimate a markov model transition matrix and then treats the markov network as a graph and applies graph functions to it. We can then unserstand how people transition between events. For instance, if students are working together to learn something and do actions like plan, discuss, agree, disagree, etc. We can estimate the network (the matrix). If we have two groups, we may need to compare them.
I attached two matrices in a list of high and low achievers, and the paper that explains the methods.

What metrics, I brainstormed a bit and could build some functions for correlation of matrices, dissimilarity , similarities, distances etc. But I assume you have a wider and more comprehensive knowledge of this and if it can be extended to this, it will be great !
