Do we need to explain how modules become bootstrap modules

I just found myself going down a 15 minute rabbit hold to learn the answer to that question. It's interesting, but I'm not sure it's useful to that many people. OTOH, maybe it helps demonstrate why you want to be very, very sparing with hook_boot().

Wow, that's super interesting. I definitely think that this is a worthwhile thing to add. I don't think we need to worry about what's useful necessarily, maybe what's "interesting" is a better measurement. :)

But yes, good point about hook_boot() - that in my mind is enough to make it useful.
