Failed to start embedded Python interpreter #71
Description
After downloading Portable (Windows) 2025.09.30 (which is a ZIP file containing the program files and all necessary dependencies), and extracting to "C:\Users\LoginName\Downloads\yt-dlp", executing the yt-dlp-gui.exe yields the popup error "Failed to start embedded Python interpreter!"
Are you sure all program files and necessary dependencies are contained within this zipfile?
I also tried installing Python 3.14.2-amd64 and re-ran the yt-dlp-gui.exe, but that did not change anything, noting that I did not reboot after installing. Thank you.
