With Lossless, you can now stream tracks in up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC, unlocking greater detail across nearly every song available on Spotify.

Lossless is available on mobile, desktop, and tablet, as well as on many devices that support Spotify Connect, including Sony, Bose, Samsung, Sennheiser, and more. Support for additional devices, including those from Sonos and Amazon, arrives next month.

I have the lossless option on my iPhone but not via connect

Librespot implementation is in the works according to librespot-org/librespot#1583 . Let’s hope it won’t be too much of a hassle

Apparently, the thread was closed. Spotify contacted the team, ordering not to pursue lossless streaming.
