Cart items + quantity

Would it be possible to make an API call to get all cart items plus quantities as a number so I can make

We have {{ sc:cart:count }}, but with this, I can't get the total of all cart items and quantities. Or maybe there is already one. I need it as an API because we use Axios in the full shop.

You should be able to make a request to /!/simple-commerce/cart for that information.

I tried doing that, but I only get the cart total without the quantity. Am I missing something? I could write a function that gets all items and calculates the quantity that way. I just thought maybe it was easier to have a call or add it in the response of /cart.
