POD not compatible with `DuoAPISwift (2.0.0)`

I'm getting this error again. Also didn't find out if earlier anyone found a solution or not. Can anyone help me with this?

@HardikShah5 I believe I might have an idea what is going on; but I am definitely not a Apple developer so I could easily be completely wrong...

I notice that in our podspec file https://github.com/duosecurity/duo_api_swift/blob/master/DuoAPISwift.podspec#L13
we define an osx deployment target. I think, from reading the pod spec definition at https://guides.cocoapods.org/syntax/podspec.html#group_platform, that Cocoapods considers 'ios' and 'osx' as separate targets. Since we do not have an ios target, I believe Cocoapods thinks we don't support ios.

I'll try to track down an actual Apple dev to check my hypothesis, and hopefully resolve the issue; but in the meantime, is it possible for you to try using the OSX platform for testing the API client?

@javascriptcowboy I didn't hear back from @HardikShah5 on my question above - perhaps you can test my hypothesis.

However, there is a second problem, which is that due to CocoaPods/CocoaPods#11621 I have been unable to push new releases to Cocoapods. So that is also blocking a fix.

If you're having issues with CocoaPods, have you looked into the newer package system for xCode?

I'm thinking just a test project, to make sure that the pod does work on OSX. That would be evidence that this issue is specific to ios. I'd test it myself but I run linux.

We have considered moving off Cocoapods, yes, but no decisions have been made yet.
