Get Now playing information

Hello. I'm using MacOS with supersonic, and I'd like to get now playing information (like song title and artist) for displaying on my custom status bar. The MacOS doesn't allow easily to get system-wide now playing information (only media-control is able to as far as I know), so I'd like to get the information directly from supersonic. Is it possible?

It's not currently possible, though I could add a CLI option to get the current status and now playing info. What format would be most useful? JSON? Just human-readable key-value like:

Status: Playing
Title: A Song Title
Artist: The Artist
Position: 3:45
Duration: 4:30

I guess it really does not matter what format to output as. Human readable one is fine.
