Team_not_found error

So I have used the methods I knew from problem solving before, but I never got this error before. I searched for it but could not find if anyone else got it. I am not sure what to do at this point. I have tried to log in with my email as the user name, and I have tried the member id as well. Any thoughts? I will attach a copy of the debug log.

I reinstalled after figuring it out before, and it was working before the reinstall. I initially installed this plug-in by downloading the zip file then running it from my downloads folder. Then I also did it by using git and installing it via the instructions from my home folder.

I solved my own issue, in the hosts section do not forget to put the team name. example

I am having a similar issue with Slack. I'm trying to join frrouting.slack.com and I am getting the same TEAM_NOT_FOUND error.

Did you put frrouting.slack.com in host? The request for that domain works for me.

That means you got the team correct then, the user name should be the member ID from slack (not the email used to sign up for slack). Go into slack and log in via web browser or the app, then click on your profile icon (upper right), then click "profile", then look for the 3 dots next to the "View as" drop down menu and click them. Select copy member ID.

When making the account in pidgin there are boxes to fill out under the protocol drop down menu. This is how they should be filled out

Username: (member ID you copied)
Host: frrouting.slack.com
Password: (your slack password)
Remember password: Tick the box
Alias: (Can be left blank)
