Homebrew installation failure - CMake compatibility issues #207

@ybzsek

Description

@ybzsek

It seems like the latest cmake (4.0.2) doesn't support it's older versions.

Happened to me when brewing ffmpeg. Would it be possible to change the minimum requirements? (Or maybe if you know how to overcome this.) It seems that it will happen to others as well.

My request is probably not done the right way, I will remove it if needed not clutter this platform with noobness.

CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:1 (cmake_minimum_required):
  Compatibility with CMake < 3.5 has been removed from CMake.

  Update the VERSION argument <min> value. Or, use the <min>...<max> syntax
  to tell CMake that the project requires at least <min> but has been updated
  to work with policies introduced by <max> or earlier.

  Or, add -DCMAKE_POLICY_VERSION_MINIMUM=3.5 to try configuring anyway.
