Cannot read properties of null (reading 'projectConfig')

Current behavior

⚙️ Generating affected matrix for lint
  
   >  NX   Cannot read properties of null (reading 'projectConfig')

What I tried so far:

• Affected matrix generation fail with: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'endsWith') #53 (comment)
• I also added the root permanenty to the project.jsons. The result is still the same.

Expected behavior

It works ;)

What is the motivation / use case for changing the behavior?
