Faqs plugin e107 v2X

I have a v1.4 site running on php 5.3.4 with the original v1 FAQ plugin (ver 4.9) installed that I want (really need) to upgrade to v2.3.3 so I can upgrade php - I already have a 2nd site running e107 v2.3.3 on php 8.3 so want to test the latest FAQS plugin for conversion etc. so how can I get a copy please?

@necpwawebmaster in the present version (here on github) FAQ is part of the core plugins.
That was/is a rewritten piece.
The upgrade packs and/or 2.3.3 itself do not contain this one.

searched and found faqs version (early state of 2.4 before LANs were adjusted ( ca 2024).
It should run on v 2.3.3 but tested on a php 8.2 version.
You can download it here (make a ste backup first, just in case).

Just put it in the plugins folder (install via admin).
As is no guarantee...

Thanks, grabbed a copy, installed, and created some faqs and seems to be working OK, a bit more testing now - found that if I select 'classic layout' in FAQs Prefs then it shows a blank screen with a back to categories link, which gives a not found but hopefully some of the updates in future will sort that (or it's maybe my theme mods....)

'Classic Layout' seems to be the only issue and it works on php8.2 (8.3 breaks the site, probably the theme) Only downside is that I can't work out how to style the faq text, tried via the faqs/style.css file, main theme css and the faq template but no joy atm changing the 'blue' txt https://necpwa.org/faqs

Since themes differ i assume it is bootstrap css which normally will be loaded through cdn (external).
No themer but earlier some did disable this and used an internal bootstrap css file (no update possible as is then a custom build).
It shows link color and that is bootst.... eg bold etc would be possible as also background. where font etc needs styling.

Thanks. Line 73 in faqs_template does appear to show an external link to the FAQS layout, which is confusing as the plugin has it's own faqs.css file. I'm used to the older e107 style of coding, not the 'Bootstrap' layouts and am too old to consider learning the new system so will just have to live with it.
