@MortFred , this seems like a bug to me. Could you provide an issue, maybe with a small example? Thanks! |

I am migrating my Pandapower project from version 2 to version 3.
My network has a 3-winding transformer with a discrete tap controller on the medium voltage winding (eg. the 230kV side of a 33kV, 230kV, 400kV transformer).
It seems now though that the controller initialization has changed and only low-voltage or high-voltage side are viable options:
"An unexpected error occurred: side has to be 'hv' or 'lv' for high/low voltage, received mv".
Is this a conscious design choice from Pandapower's side or an unintentional oversight in the update to 3.0?
