Jumper settings for serial cable

For use with a normal serial cable, what are the correct JP5 and JP6 settings?

Subject to the RS232 cable you are using. Both NULL modem and straigh through are considered as normal cables. IF you are using NULL modem cable then put jumper to the NULL position. Otherwise goes to straight. There is no wrong settings.

I'm still having problems.
I'm using straight config in both jumpers, and a straight cable with a null modem adapter.
That was the only configuration that I got the expansion board to display 0.00gn.
While it displays 00.0gn it will not display the increments of weight when adding powder. The scale makes a weird sound in this configuration....

Reading 0 means the value is definitely propagated to the controller.
May I ask what model of A&D scale are you using? It looks slightly different from the A&D FX300i I have. Though I think the communication protocol is the same across the FX-i series.
