Adding new boards

Hi All,

Created two new boards in a fork of /earlephilhower/arduino-pico using instructions in the Contributing Guide. Is there any way I can test these before offering them to the community? I am a GitHub newbie.

Boards are Waveshare RP2350-Relay-Ch6 and Waveshare RP2350-Relay-Ch6-W.

If you move your git clone to ~/Arduino/hardware/pico/rp2040 and restart the IDE it will then show up in the installed boards. Under Windows, I think it's under C:\users\<user>\Documents\Arduino\hardware\pico\rp2040

I cannot find the equivalent folders in MacOS. Am I overlooking something?

Start in whatever the MacOS default sketch base is for your user. You then have to make the hardware/pico folder there (it won't exist unless you make it) and place your git clone under hardware/pico/rp2040
