A simple password or username/password protection to access the interface and stream, please.

I have my two ESP32-cams routed to the outside world. Would it be possible to add a password-request to the interface? I'm not that firm with programming such things (I'm more a hardware-tinkerer and a horrible programmer).
I know this project is about being archived. Maybe you can help me or other people having the same request. Thank you for this awesome piece of work!!!
