Java Illegal State Exception - Cause?

When trying to build a connector I keep facing an Illegal State Exception without any idea on how to fix it or what's the cause.

So the thing is, I find myself in some kind of vicious circle, because the IllegalStateException has popped up again.

In order to fix at least one of the unprovided fields, I've added implementation(project("::extensions:data-plane-selector:store:sql:data-plane-instance-store-sql")) to the dependencies of my connector.
--> dataPlaneInstanceStore disappeared from the list of unprovided fields! (So I guess it worked?)

The next step was to fix the unprovided fields "protocolWebhook".
That's why I've added implementation(project("::data-protocols:dsp:dsp-api-configuration")).
--> Unfortunately that line led yet again to the IllegalStateException(s).

From that moment on I started to literally add any dependency that referenced the ProtocolWebhook-Interface.
In the end that just led to a vicious circle of unprovided fields and IllegalStateExceptions mixed with a lot of confusion on my side - who could have guessed :D ?

What I am basically trying to achieve is to have two connectors in the same network (but on different devices) that can exchange data stored on a PostgreSQL database.

Is there anywhere for me to find information on what dependencies I have to add to my connectors in order to achieve exactly that?
Unfortunately I couldn't find such documentation which makes it hard for me to understand what extensions are dependent on one another, or which I basically need to add to each of the build.gradle.kts files in order to fulfill my Use Case.

I'd be really grateful if you could help me since I'm starting to confuse myself if I haven't already :D

It looks as if you do not have the DSP extensions loaded. Since we have not yet ported the samples over to M9, you can look at the end-to-end tests for examples of how to do this (removing the appropriate test modules):

@MaliaCataleya you don't need to load each dsp dependency, just add the dsp BOM module as dependency.

By the way, I noticed that you are defining a mixture of "maven dependencies" and "internal project dependencies", the advice is to load all of them from maven central, so avoiding the project(": ...") ones
