Support for Proof Metadata Endpoint as defined in DSP 2025/1 (Section 5.4.3.1)

Feature Request

According to DSP 2025/1 – Section 5.4.3.1 ("The Proof Metadata Endpoint"), when a Catalog contains protected datasets, the provider may require clients to present proofs in order to receive a filtered catalog response. In this case, the protocol binding should define a proof data endpoint that enables clients to discover what kinds of proofs may be required.

Why Is the Feature Desired?

In alignment with the Dataspace Protocol specification, this feature would allow consumers to dynamically discover what proofs are needed before making a Catalog request. Currently, it is unclear whether the EDC plans to support this requirement, or how such a discovery mechanism could be implemented.
