Question about who created the assets in MinimumViableDataspace

Hi, I've noticed that the assets are created via the APIs on port 8081, which represents the consumer management API port. My question is: Should assets be created by the provider, rather than the consumer?

if you take a look at the seed[-k8s].sh scripts, they run the PM collection using newman and in doing so they set those environment variables accordingly to match consumer, provider catalog server and the provider connector runtimes.

@paullatzelsperger Thanks for your replying. After "bash seed.sh" , executing MVD Local Development.postman_environment.json and MVD.postman_collection.json, I notice that the WEB_HTTP_MANAGEMENT_PORT in consumer_connector.env is 8081 :

and "HOST" in http-client.env.json is "http://localhost:8081":


So based on the above status, Could I assume that assets are created by the consumer rather than the provider?

no. like i said, the seed scripts set the IPs and ports regardless of the environments.
