Use client with GLSP node server

What would be needed to start to use the GLSP client with the Node server implementation? I am able to start the Node server just fine, but when I try to start the client, it defaults to trying to start the Java server.

Hi @gee4vee ,
the GLSP node server implementation currently only does support plain socket connections (no websocket) so you have to use it
in combination with the Theia integration or the VSCode integration example.
Per default these examples try to launch an embedded server. However, also launch the example applications in a mode where they try to connect to an already running server instance (the Workflow Node GLSP Server) in your case.

For the Theia integration you can do this with:

cd examples/browser-app
yarn start:debug

@tortmayr Thanks. We are only interested in Theia or VS Code fortunately :)

I tried using the VS Code launch config and get this. Any idea what it could mean?

@tortmayr If I run "start:external": "theia start --WF_GLSP=5007 --root-dir=../workspace --DEBUG", from the workflow example client, I see this. I'm assuming I can ignore the warning about starting the Java GLSP server?
