Building a JDT update site with patches

I'm looking into building jdt.ls with some of the pending PR content. I already have the JDT patch site generated with the PRs I have chosen, But I don't get those updates in JDT.LS when i build with that patch site and JDT I-build site in the target platform file.

If i remove the JDT I-build site then the build fails with jdt feature not found.

My question is, is it possible to do what i'm trying out here ?
If possible could someone let me know How i should build such a update site and combine with JDT.LS target platform ?

The reason for asking this here is I have seen the JDT Java Patch sites works fine with JDT.LS target platform.
