Is there a good reason for having 2 quickfixes for adding missing types arguments?

Given this:

HashMap<Character, Integer> asdf = new HashMap();

Why would we need 2 quickfixes

• "Add type arguments to HashMap" (adds the diamond operator instead of explicitly specifying the type arguments).
• "Change type arguments to HashMap<Character, Integer>"

The "Change type arguments to HashMap<Character, Integer>" quickfix seems both redundant and obsolete. Are there any use cases where it would still be desirable to have it?

Offhand, the code that would normally correct an invalid type specification (e.g. <Character, String>) probably also offers to add them in and I agree that this suggestion is obsolete and should be omitted. I will create an issue from this and fix for 4.39 M1.
