Errors Building Image Switching from Fabric8

I have a Dockerfile in src/main/docker/Dockerfile which includes a step which attempts to copy a jar generated by the build into the image. The identical configuration and dockerfile succeed with the fabric8 plugin

[ERROR] k8s: Failed to execute the build [Error while trying to build the image: 
Unable to build image [my-image:1] : 
"error building at STEP \"COPY target/foo-*.jar ${DIR}\": checking on sources under \"/var/tmp/libpod_builder32875418/build\": 
Rel: can't make  relative to /var/tmp/libpod_builder32875418/build; copier: stat: [\"/target/foo-*.jar\"]: no such file or directory

Could you please change contents of Dockerfile? I think main difference can be that you need to prefix the assembly name (maven by default) in jkube case, check out dockerfile sample.

COPY target/docker-file-simple.jar /deployments/docker-file-simple.jar

needs to be changed to

COPY maven/target/docker-file-simple.jar /deployments/docker-file-simple.jar
