UriError when a file is open from a network location

This is the exact error from the logs:

Request initialize failed with message: [UriError]: If a URI does not contain an authority component, then the path cannot begin with two slash characters ("//")

My logs go back as far as 2023-05-06 and show the errors occurring the whole time. But, after updating to the latest version, Eclipse now shows this error dialog repeatedly. I have to disable the language server to be able to edit a file.
