Icons are visible in the chevron even if the preference "Hide icons" is set to `true`

Let's make sure issue is not already fixed in latest builds first.

• I verified I can reproduce this issue against latest Integration Build of Eclipse SDK

Steps to reproduce

From a fresh installation and clean workspace:

• Activate the preference Hide icons under General > Appearance
• Open the chevron to show some missing views

Note

This functionality was introduced in #1071

I expected: To see no icons

But got: Icons

• OS & version: Windows 11
• Eclipse IDE/Platform version (as shown in Help > About): 2025-12 (4.38) / I20251027-1800
