1. Lifetime issue presented. We agree that the use case presented in the test is valid and shall be supported. @darkwisebear will create a PR with the test and a possible solution.
2. We agreed to merge the PR as-is to unblovk integration of the API to https://github.com/eclipse-score/communication. @MarkSchmitt approved, @darkwisebear will overvome the check issue and proceed with merging.
