• POC to see if we can make datatypes ABI compatible to SOME/IP
  • Add requirement to make the API of the ABI compatible datatypes interchangable (SOME/IP, DDS)
  • Main goal of POC is to find out whether this is performant (IPC should not pay for saved transformation of network traffic)
  • Potential reduction of feature set necessary - Check this out in POC! Potential fallback necessary.

• Is this not also IPC but just with more difficult boundaries inbetween?

Regarding Question 1: As the name states this is non-IPC so nothing to do with mw:com but how the implementation can look like is to be discussed. On the level of requirements this was already discussed in the last workshop https://github.com/orgs/eclipse-score/discussions/764. Regarding Question 2 Goal is interVM Communication.
